SPEED THE LIGHT is the Assemblies of God program where teens can be involved in missions. The money given by the young people provides Transportation and Communications equipment for missionaries around the world. The single driving purpose behind Speed The Light is that the equipment be used for evangelism.

The official 2008-09 theme for Speed the Light is "EXTRAORDINARY." We believe God is raising up an army of ordinary students who will do extraordinary things for His kingdom. Please join with us as we pursue our responsibility to provide our missionaries with the “essential transportation and creative communication” they need for effective evangelism. Set aside a special service to feature the ministry of Speed the Light and highlight those who are giving their lives to serve in mission fields here and abroad. Challenge your congregation to partner with the youth in your church to give so that our missionaries can be equipped to take the gospel to the “ends of the earth.”
