CAMP INFORMATIONMountains to the winding creek that splits the camp ground, Turner Falls is the perfect setting for a summer youth camp. The weather is usually warm and it often rains at least once during the week of camp. The camp is fenced in and securely locked for the entire week of camp. NO VISITORS are allowed on the campgrounds. Every camper is accounted for each evening when the lights go out. There is approximately one adult for every 10 campers. Medical personnel is available on the grounds day and night. Each camper that becomes ill is immediately attended to at the camps nursing clinic. A local doctor is on call in case further medical attention is needed. The only way a camper is released from camp is by permission of the parent or guardian whose signature is on the camp registration form.
 

GUIDELINES-Willful destruction of camp or personal property will not be tolerated.

-No one is allowed to leave camp without permission from the camp executive staff. Children will not be allowed to leave the camp with anyone except the parent or legal guardian whose signature appears on the registration form.

-Campers must remain on the camp property at all times unless on a group outing.

-No personal electronic devices are allowed at camp.

-No guests are allowed at camp at any time.

-Camp is not a place for public display of affection.
-All medication must be checked in with the camp nurse.

-All clothes must cover shoulders, backs, sides, and stomach at all times. No tight clothing will be allowed.

-All campers agree that any media captured (photos, videos, audio) is the property of OYM and can be used for future promotion. 
 

AGESRegistration is open to students 6th grade - 19 years old.
 

WHAT TO BRING-BEDDING- Pillow, sleeping bag, etc...

-TOILETRIES- Shampoo, soap, toothbrush, deodorant(please!), & towel.

-CLOTHES- Modest shorts and t-shirts are allowed. We play hard most of the time and get sweaty, dirty, and muddy. Campers must wear shoes at all times. Evening- No shorts are allowed for evening service. If a girl chooses to wear a skirt, it must be knee-length.

-ADDITIONAL ITEMS- Bible, notebook, pen, camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, and spending money. All meals are provided at the camp site except for concessions. Souvenirs are also available.

 

WHAT NOT TO BRING-Personal sound systems, TV’s, cell phones

-Shaving cream is only for shaving

-Tobacco products of any kind

-Weapons - knives, guns, etc.

-No illegal substances

-Skateboards

-A bad attitude

 

COST All camps cost $110 each. The camp registration form and a non-refundable $30 deposit will reserve your place at youth camp. The $80 balance is due upon arrival at camp. A 10 late fee wil be assessed for campers whose forms are not in 2 weeks in advance of camp.
